Vanessa Fonseca, an Assistant Professor with experience in marine biology, is co-head of the Biomonitoring and Ecotoxicology laboratory (BIOTOXlab), and is an expert in ecotoxicology of emerging contaminants, having broad expertise in ecotoxicological biomarkers. Has published 101 ISI papers (H=26), 2 book/chapters, 20 supervisions (9 MSc, 4 PhD and 4 Post-Doc) and engaged 10 (inter)national projects (5 as PI/Co-PI).
